Surco rooftop baskets that mount to the factory siderails on your 2009 Toyota 4Runner are shown on the linked page. The largest of these is their 84 x 50-inch Safari # SPS5084-1101. This kit includes the required mounting adapters.

This basket weighs about 40-lbs so keep that in mind as you are planning your cargo load. The 4Runner's roof capacity must be enough for the weight of the basket itself plus what you load into it. So if your owner's manual says, just for example, that the roof weight limit is 125-lbs, then this means that after you account for the 40-lb weight of the basket you could still load cargo with a total weight of up to 85-lbs.
