Question:
I have a Chevy Suburban and a Road Tractor I am going to pull a trailer with electric brakes. Will one of the Prodigy brake controllers work with both the Suburban and the air brakes on the Road Tractor? Is there any special electrical wiring I will need? Thank you

The brake controller I recommend for you is the Prodigy RF Brake Controller, part # TK94FR.
This brake controller is wireless and mounts onto your trailer. The 7-way connector on your trailer will plug into the power module and the 7-way connector on the tow vehicle would plug into the cord from the power module. The hand-held wireless remote will be used in the cab of your Suburban to control the brake controller that is mounted on the trailer.
You will want to make sure the wiring harness on both tow vehicles are pinned the same way to be compatible with the RF controller.
