Question:

Hi, I have a 2011 Ford Edge with a Glass Moon Roof and I wanted to know what roof rack would be the best fit. I am looking to get a thule cargo box on top in the future so I want to make sure the bars are a solid fit and will hold the weight. I am looking for bars that look good as well. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks,

I checked with Thule and their aeroblade bar roof rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH480R, and # THKIT1530 has been confirmed as a fit for your 2011 Ford Edge with the glass roof so it would work well. You will need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine what roof capacity your vehicle has and be sure not to exceed that figure.

The Thule Motion XT Roof Box part # TH629706 would work well for you. It provides 16 cubic feet of storage space and can open on either side so it would be a great choice.
