Question:

I have a Husky 24K ez roller 5th wheel and want to install in my 2009 Ram 3500 quad cab 4 wheel drive with 8 foot bed, will your rails work with my hitch? Can I just get your bolts and brackets kit and use my own rails?

The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # C16420-204 will work great for your 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 and your Husky 5th wheel hitch if it is designed to fit industry standard rails.

I recommend using a custom kit like # C16420-204 that cuts the installation time in half because there is no drilling required. This kit includes the brackets, rails, and hardware needed.

We also offer the semi-custom installation kit, part # C16301-200. This kit does require drilling when installing, but it will also work well with your Husky hitch.

We also offer several hardware installation kits for fifth wheel rails. It is not recommended to mix hardware and brackets, rails or other components from different manufacturers so If you want to let me know what rails you have I will see if we have the hardware kits

For a trailer wiring harness to use with your 5th wheel I recommend part # HM42137. This attaches to your truck wiring and then gives you a 7-pole harness in the bed of your truck.
