Spare Tire Clearance With Curt Class III Receiver Part # 13019 Installed on 2003 Ford Ranger
Updated 08/05/2010 | Published 08/04/2010 >
Question:
I just wonder if there are any issues with the spare tire hitting the hitch. Got any pictures of this hitch on a 2003 Ford Ranger?

According to my contacts at Curt Manufacturing, Ranger models manufactured after the 1997 model year will not have any spare tire clearance issues. You might find that temporarily removing the spare during the install will allow more working room.
I do not currently have any photos of this particular hitch installed on a 2003 Ranger.
