Where Is Breakaway Switch Cable Attached When Using Companion 5Th Wheel On 2012 Ford F-350

Question:

I have the rvk3300 BandW hitch when hooked to 5th wheel where do you anchor the breakaway switch cable. 2012 F350 superduty

I called my contact at B&W and they told me that they do not have a designated place on the Companion for a breakaway cable to attach.

They said most customers attach the cable to the pin on the back of the fifth wheel head that is used for locking the hitch in place. I have attached a photo of the back of the hitch and have pointed to the pin they said is used. You want to make sure it is not tight and pulled when executing turns.
