I already have a BandW companion hitch and just got a 2015 RAM mega cab with the OEM 5th wheel prep package. Can this slider be used with the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs - RP30154, and can I use my current companion head? Thanks

We do not offer a slider base for the B&W Companion hitch head that will fit into the Reese adapter # RP30154.
For the most turning clearance in your short bed truck I suggest an automatic slider hitch with the most travel. Demco's Hijacker 18K Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034 and installation kit # DM6099 will mount into the factory pucks. This slider automatically releases when you make sharp turns and its 14-inches of travel means the most clearance possible between your cab and trailer overhang. If you wish you can substitute the Reese # RP30154 for the Demco DM6099 as it is a bit less costly and serves the same purpose. If you need 21K-rated hitch instead then use part # DM8550035.
For a 5th wheel wiring harness you can use part # PK11893-11932.
