I have a 1988 cox trailer bearing measures 2 5/8 inches what size bearing buddy bra will I need

Based on your measurements you must have a larger Bearing Buddy so you would need # BB23B which has an outer diameter of 2-7/16 inches; the largest available. It fits on Bearing Buddy models 2328, 2328SS, 2441, 2441SS, 2717, 2717SS, 2562, 2562SS, 2240 and 2240SS.

There should be a sticker on the side of the Bearing Buddy that says what model it is unless that sticker has worn off.
