Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2010 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4 Made in USA

Question:
2010 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4 4.0 liter engine automatic trans, made in USA. Your site and others say this hitch does not fit if there is a front cross member. I dont know exactly what that is suppose to be referencing? Will this hitch fit my truck? Thanks.

Basically, the crossmember in question would appear at the front of your 2010 Ford Ranger where it would be attached to the vehicle frame and get in the way of where the hitch mounting flanges need to attach to the bottom of the frame. I have included a link to the installation instructions for Curt front receiver # C31063. There is a diagram that shows where the hitch installs. If you have anything that blocks where the hitch installs then you would not be able to install it.

Good morning, I would like to buy your front mount hitch for my 2010 Ford Ranger it’s 4x4 made in the states. Could you send me the installation instructions or some paperwork to make sure I’m clear on the possible cross member. There appears to be a round bar in front of the engine. I don’t know if that qualifies as a cross member. Thanks for your time Peter
