HELLO I AM GOING TO BUILT A TRAILER TO HAUL 18 FOOT BIN, MY TRAILER WILL BE GOOSE NECK I WILL NEED AS BIG AXEL AS I CAN 8000 POUND IF POSSIBLE 7000 MIN. I WOULD TRY THIS NEW TIMBREN SUSPENTION OR TOREFLEX NO SPRING, I WOULD LIKE BOTH AXEL BRAKING, I WOULD LIKE HYDRAULIC BRAKE ELECTRIC IS LAST CHOICE IT DOES NOT HAVE BRAKING POWER OR IT IS LOOKING WHEN YOU DONT HAVE ANY LOAD IN MY MIND IT IS JUNK COMPARE WITH SURGE BRAKE THAT I HAVE USE IN THE PAST OIL BATH IS NEED FOR LOW MAINTENANCE, DISC BRAKE WOULD BE NICE, I WANT TO RUN TIRE 21575R17.5 16 PLY NO FLAT TIRE WITH THIS I HAVE TIRE AND WHEEL, PRICE IS NOT A OBJECT, I AM LOOKING FOR QUALITY FOR LOW MAINTENANCE, WHAT DO YOU RECOMAND, I HAVE A F150 2013.

We offer 7K Timbren Axle-Less systems such as # TASR7KS01 and it is what I recommend for your trailer build. These systems can be used to replace up to 2 axles and they have brake mounting flanges included.

With this system you also will not have to worry about suspension components wearing out like you would with traditional leaf spring suspension. They are not oil bath types of spindles but they are EZ lube so you would just pump grease in at the end of each of the spindles so it is similar to oil bath.

You can certainly add hydraulic disc brakes to these axle-less systems. I recommend using the Kodiak kit # K2HRCM1337-9DAC which will also be compatible with the 17.5 inch wheels you will be using. These brakes use bearings # 25580 and # 14125A as well as seals # RG06-090.

Since it is a gooseneck trailer to use hydraulic brakes you will also need an electric over hydraulic actuator. I recommend # CAR-HBA16-2 which includes the actuator, breakaway kit, and brake lines (so you would not need a whole brake line kit).

The tow vehicle will also need to have a 7-Way trailer connector and a brake controller that is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes. For that I recommend the P2 # 90885 or the P3 # 90195. If your 2013 Ford F-150 already has a 7-Way trailer connector you will only need the brake controller and wiring harness # 22292 to plug it into the truck.
