Question:

DL has a free wheeling version of the DL15721. It is the DL15761. Do you sell the DL15761? I would have the unit mounted to a portable aluminum base that would be chained back to the inner most D-rings of a toyhauler to bring in a 1000 lb boat on a 6 wheel dolly. I would have to use the optional ratchet handle to work the unit on the floor. thanks for any advice

We do sell the Dutton-Lainson Freewheel Brake Winch # DL15761. This winch combines the best of both worlds, allowing you to lift the latch so the gears can freespool or secure the handle with the latch to engage the brake.

The ratcheting handle for that winch is the DLB Series Brake Winch Ratcheting Replacement Handle # DL70347.

Mounting the winch as you have described will require a custom base, we do not have any winch bases that fit your description, and will need to be secured mounted to the trailer's frame for full support.
