The Cipa Universal Door Mount Mirror # CM45000 can basically fit any vehicle as it is a universal mirror. It would work well on your 1991 Chevy Truck.
The only way to cover up where your old mirrors installed and have it look decent is with body filler and paint, other than that there may be holes or hardware left on the door. If this is a work truck a company magnet may cover it up nicely.
