Yes, I do recommend Curt trailer hitch # C14006 as a fit for your 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 6-1/2 foot bed. this is a Class IV trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver. The hitch is rated for 1,000 pound tongue weight and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 1,200 pounds tongue weight and 12,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
For a ball mount I recommend # C45341. It has a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop. I also recommend pin and clip # PC3. Or for a locking hitch pin I recommend # e98880. I have linked a video review of the lock for you.
If the ball does not provide the proper rise or drop to tow the trailer level you can use the ball mount help article I have linked that shows how to measure for rise or drop to select a ball mount that will work.
Your truck should have a trailer connector already but if you ever need to replace it I recommend # C55774 which will provide both a 7-Way and 4-Way at the rear of the truck.
