Question:
Hi, good evening, I lost my Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device, so i wonder if i could use the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock with 8foot Cable, tanx

Expert Reply:
Your Thule bike rack uses a threaded hitch bolt, both for security and to hold the shank of the bike right tight up against the side of the receiver tube to prevent the bike rack from wobbling around.
Because it uses a proprietary threaded bolt, you unfortunately wouldn't be able to use the Hollywood Racks Lock and Cable Lock # HRLHPC2 you mentioned as the threads would prevent the hitch pin from working.
If you lost the threaded hitch bolt as well as the lock itself, you'd need part # THSTL2. If you're only missing the threaded hitch bolt, you can replace that with part # 853-5917.
