Axle Availability for a Small Jon Boat Trailer
Published 12/11/2015 >
Question:
In need of axle and hubs for a small boat trailer. 2,000 pounds is more than enough for my jon boat with no motor. But Ill take whatever to meet the specs: Spring Center = 49. Is that possible? Is it really the stock size of 48??? Wheel Centers = 60. Diameter 2-1/4inch Round. Doesnt have to be round? Overall Length = 65inch 65-1/2inch would work..

The closest axle we have to what you need is the part # 20440I-EZ-60 which has very similar specs as what you need, but the spring center is off by one inch as it is 48 inches on this axle.
The overall capacity is 2,000 lbs and the hub face to hub face dimension is 60 inches. The spring center and hub fact to hub face dimensions are the two most important dimensions to consider when buying an axle. If you can get by with 48 inch spring centers this would work well, otherwise you would need to find a local trailer shop to you that can custom order you in axles to the specs you need.
This axle also includes idler hubs that have a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern.
