Question:
So I am looking at the 2 bike holder for the Jetta. It looks nice but someone could easily steel the holder right. There is no way to keep someone from stealing it?

The only anti-theft device we have for using a trunk mounted bike rack like the Thule Passage part # TH910XT is the Thule Passive Security Strap # TH533. You will basically loop the nylon covered steel strap around the frame of the rack to form a slip knot and then would close the puck of the strap in the trunk so that the only way to fully separate the rack from the vehicle would be to open the trunk.
Another option is the Thule OutWay trunk rack part # TH45JV. All of the straps of this rack are rubber coated straps and there is only 2 of them. This carrier comes with locks for both the rack and the bikes to deter theft.
I attached review videos for both the products I mentioned.
