7- to 4-Way Adapter for a 2015 Chevy Tahoe with Factory 7-Way Trailer Connector

Question:

Will this adapter fit my friends new 2015 Chevy Tahoe - I already have 2 of these for my 03 and 06 GMC Sierra trucks to 4 prong flat and he wants one for his new Tahoe ???

Yes, the 7-Way socket on the 2015 Chevy Tahoe is the same in function as those on any other vehicle with a 7-Way blade style connector so your friend can use adapter # HM47365. I have included a link to a video review of this adapter for you.

You're right. There's nothing in particular preventing somebody from taking a wiring adapter like this if they want it. I don't think this is really a high-demand item for thieves, but if it's something you're concerned with your only option would be to replace your existing 7-Way with a 7-Way and 4-Way combo like # C55774 if your vehicle is equipped with a standard factory US car connector or # HM40975-11998 if not.
