Expert Reply:
The Dexstar trailer rim part # AM20757 (like most trailer wheels), has a zero offset which means that it has a backspacing of 3-1/2 inches.
Trailer rims almost always have zero offsets to better handle the vertical load that they typically take.
Backspacing is determined by taking the width of the rim, adding one inch for the lip of the rim, and then dividing by 2. This rim is 6 inches wide so 7/2 equals 3-1/2 inches.
