Question:
I have a Yachtclub snowmobile trailer and the axle is pretty rusted/rotted and lo, oking to replace it. The trailer is Model SMA 105D, mfg in 2003, VIN 4H101141940352337, GAWR is 1880 lbs and its a torsion style axle that bolt up into the support beams that run axially along the trailer.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your snowmobile trailer I recommend going with a Timbren Axle-Less system such as # ASR2000S01. I have included a link to all the options rated for 2,000 pounds. The benefit is that you won't have an axle beam to rust and you still get the rubber, torsion-style suspension. To determine if the hubs you have now will fit I just need to know the inner and outer bearing numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings.
