Question:
Would this product work to scare away an agressive dog? I am a bicyclist on country roads and have a dog that regularly chases me.. would initiating this alarm scare off the dog?

The Hopkins Trailblazer Electronic Deer Alert, part # HM27512VA may startle a dog the first time or two that you activate it, but I am not sure if I would rely on it solely for defense from an aggressive dog.
You would need a 12V power source on your bike and that would add additional weight which would not be good when being chased by any animals. The alarm has a chirping sound you can hear if you want to check out the attached video.
