Why is there No drilling required for: Code: 65064 and there is drilling required for: Code: C31012 Code: C31069

Draw-Tite front mount receiver # 65064 mounts to different locations on the 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 than Curt hitch # C31012 or # C31069. I have included links to the installation instructions so you can see how each one installs.
I am of the opinion that no drilling is the much better option then one that requires drilling. Drilling into a vehicle frame isn't easy because the frame is so strong. So avoiding that is a good thing! That is why if it were my truck I would choose # 65064.
