Question:
I am building a single axle trailer using a mobile home axle and springs. Will the APS4 hanger kit work for this? Or do you recommend another hanger kit?

If the springs you have are 1-3/4 inches wide the hanger kit part # APS4 that you referenced will technically fit and work with what you have. Since you are using axles we aren't familiar with I can't give you hanger spacing dimensions.
