Replacing Hubs on Trailer with Unusual Bolt Pattern Recommendation
Published 10/02/2015 >
Question:
I have an old trailer with split rims and I am looking at updating it. It seems hard to find the wheel to match the both pattern which seems to be about 5 on 6.5. What would a complete set up run starting with the new brake, the drum hub, wheel and tire combination and all accessories.

First we have to figure out what spindle you have on your trailer to determine what hub/drum could fit it and then build from there to complete the setup.
To this you will need to remove a hub from the axle and either get the bearing numbers or the dimensions of the spindle where the bearings and grease seal ride. See the attached picture.
From there you will want to check out the help article I attached that will walk you through the rest of steps to adding the brake assemblies to your trailer.
I attached a link to a page that has all of your trailer tires and wheels for you to check out as well.
