Question:
I am looking at installing the cooler under the wagon in back of trans on drivers side in front of rear axle.My trans is a r700 hd with overdrive,the engine is a 350 chevy and 209 transferr case.Veh. is raised and rides on 33foot tries

The beauty of a remote cooler is that the fan will provide air flow, so the cooler can be mounted anywhere on the vehicle that has room to accommodate its 15-3/4 by 11-1/2 by 5 inch size.
The location you mention should work just fine.
