Question:
I am seeing oil temps up to 285 deg. when towing my 9,000 lb trailer up steep grades when ambient temps reach 100 outside. Will this cooler give me enough cooling capacity to bring the oil temp down to more acceptable ranges? Or would i need to go with a bigger cooler?

Stacked plate coolers such as # D15604 are very efficient and you likely would not have to go to a larger cooler because of the stacked plate design. But if you want the optimum amount of cooling all the time I recommend going with a remote cooler such as # D15500. It has its own fan so it will provide the most cooling all the time; even when sitting still such as at a traffic light.
