Question:
1. I am interested in this brake controller or another if this will not fit a chevy tahoe. 2. Does this include everything I need to install in a 2005 Tahoe 4x4 w/ factory trailer harness at the rear ? 3. I note the wire harness shown is for a Ford installation! I assume I would need a GM harness? 4. Is this a direct plug into existing vehicle connectors? A plug and play type installation? Thankyou

The Curt Echo Under-Dash Brake Controller # C27JR is an excellent choice for your 2005 Chevy Tahoe. I really like it because you mount it under your dash and then you have a clutter-free brake controller to use!
The correct wiring kit to connect this to the tow package on your Tahoe is the Curt Adapter # C51352. This gives you a simple plug-and-play installation that takes any guesswork out of the wiring.
We have a variety of other controllers to choose from but the Echo Under-Dash is one of the top options in my opinion so I don't really see the need to look any further!
Attached is a review video for you to check out.
