Base Plate Kit Recommendation for a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Roadmaster Tow Bar

Question:
I have a roadmaster towbar dont know the model_ that I took off my 2001 Chevy Silverrado 1500. I can see that the base plate will not work on the 2003 Jeep Grand Cheroke. What I want to know is will the towbar from the 01 Chevy work on the proper Base plate need that part no too for the 03 Jeep? Thanks for your help. Feel free to call me at

Nearly all Roadmaster tow bars are compatible with Roadmaster base plate kits. The correct base plate kit for your 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the part # 1419-7 that you referenced.
