D-Ring and Backing Plate Recommendation without Hole Cut In Center

Question:

Do you have a Backing plate the same as the BP05 only that is a solid plate? It seems as that big hole will expose the plywood to the weather and start wood rot over time?

The reason the part # BP05 has a hole in the center of it is so that the recessed D-ring part # RR05 can fit into it. Without the hole the D-ring wouldn't fit it.

If you are wanting a similar backing plate for a different application the # RR2K might be a better option as it comes with a D-ring to attach to it and doesn't have the hole.
