Thule Square Crossbar is Stuck on Rapid Traverse Foot

Question:
How do I loosen the rack bar from the rack foot. Its jammed on tightly and I cant get it to slide. Ive got square bars on a 480 foot pack and Ive got to slide them off so I can use them on a new setup.

Using the integrated tool inside one of the feet you will loosen the nut and that should loosen the grip on the bars. If it is seized on there then there is likely some corrosion inside. You will need to take the end caps off of the bars and spray some WD40 inside. Let it soak for about 15 minutes and then try again. Repeat as needed!
