Question:
My trailer has 4.80x8 tires currently which Im using in the woods to haul out firewood with my ATV. On a few occasions Ive gotten stuck due to the lack of thickness of the tires and probably the weight in the trailer. Is there a wider tire that is the same diameter and is closer to an ATV-type tire that I could use for this effort that would still fit on threaded wheel studs? Thanks.

We have some 215/60-8 tires, such as # AM1HP28, that are going to be just under 9 inches wide when inflated but they will not fit the same wheels you have now. And they will be over 2 inches taller.
a 5.70-8 tire will fit the same wheels but it will be 2 inches taller. Only half of that height is applied above the tire (1 inch above the center of the axle and 1 inch below the center of the axle). So if you have the space for it you could go with a 5.70-8. It will be about 1.3 inches wider.
I have included a link to the 5.70-8 tires that we carry.
