The Superwinch LT2000 Electric Utility Winch # 1120210 needs to have a direct dedicated power connection to a 12V battery. This unit draws 100-amps when under load and trailer wiring will typically have only a 40-amp breaker for the trailer 12V power feed. You'll want to install a battery on the trailer to power the winch.
7-way trailer wiring will deliver a trickle charge to your trailer battery but the battery can only be maintained with this current. You'll want to charge the battery before trips with a AC-powered charger like the # CTEK56353.
