will this work for 2015 genesis sedan AWD? If not please let me know why.

We recently spoke with Curt and found that hitch # C12086 is indeed a fit for all wheel drive models of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan.

If you plan on doing any towing with the hitch the correct ball mount to use is # C45521. For a 2 inch ball use # A-82 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball use # A-80. And for trailer wiring you can use # C56264 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the back of the Genesis.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class II trailer hitch. Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements.
