Question:
I have a 2015 Silverado 3500hd with integrated brake controller. I recently purchased a trailer with electric over hydraulic drum brakes 2 axles. I replaced the breakaway battery. The hydraulic pump will engage when I use the integrated controller slide bar but not when I press the brake pedal. I checked the truck on a trailer with standard electric brakes and they work with the brake pedal and controller.

Depending on the electric over hydraulic actuator you may need to also install an adapter. Or, if the controller of your truck has an EOH setting you would need to select that so that it will function the actuator.
If you have a Hydrastar actuator you would want the part # HBA-CAM adapter.
Otherwise you would need to upgrade your brake controller to one that can be used on EOH actuators like the P2 # 90885. To install this controller you would also need the part # 3016. I attached an install video.
