How to Determine if the Swagman XTC4 part # S64665 will Clear Bumper of Vehicle When Folded

Question:

Concerning the fit of Swagman XTC4, Spouse has new Mercedes ML350, 2015 with factory installed 2inch receiver hitch. Will this rack completely fold into the lock position and not damage or interfere with the car? Thanks,

You will need to take one measurement on your spouses Mercedes ML350 to determine if the Swagman XTC4 part # S64665 would fold up and clear the bumper of the vehicle.

You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point on the rear bumper. If that measurement is less than 3-1/2 inches the # S64665 would clear the bumper when folded as it has a distance of 3-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the nearest portion of the rack when folded.
