B&W Companion Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 RAM 3500 Dually

Question:
Hi, I am looking to install a BandW companion hitch in my 2014 RAM 3500 Dually. The issue I have is with ion and clarification. After reading up on the puck system, etc. I asked a local dealership about up-fitting my truck. The dealer said that my specific truck already has the tow prep package?, which I assume to mean the truck is/was pre-fabd underneath, but does not necessarily have the puck system installed. The problem here is that the bed does not have the holes already cut out with the puck receivers/adapters installed, but looking underneath, I can see where the cross-member, etc. has the holes, additional bracing, etc. So the question is: Does this mean I can go with the BandW OEM compatible hitch, or would an aftermarket dealer half to do the necessary modification in order to install a hitch? My concern is with modularity. I dont want a hitch that cannot be removed when not needed, plus, if is a simple process, I do not want to be taken advantage of should a dealer say it takes hours when in fact all they did was cut holes and do a quick install. Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards,

You may have the tow package on your 2014 Ram 2500, but if you do not have the pucks visible in the bed of your truck you do not have the hitch prep package needed to install the # BWRVK3600 but I do have a solution for you.
You would want to install the B and W rail kit part # BWGNRK1314-5W that also doubles as a gooseneck hitch, and then use the Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3500-5W.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
When this hitch setup is installed in your truck it would easily be removable to allow you to have complete access to your truck bed without having rails take up any space.
