Question:
I would like to get a hitch step for a 2014 Chevy Suburban but am concerned about how much the step has. What is the distance from the bottom of the bar that goes into the receiver to the top of the step? The receiver on this model of Suburban is way too high for most accessories.

On the Carr Hitch Mounted Step for 2-Inch Trailer Hitches # CARR183032 when the flag-emblem step is unfolded to its step-on position that tread surface will be approximately 3/4-inch below the bottom of the receiver tube and the bottom of the step's shank portion that fits into the tube, as shown in the linked image.
The step surface measures 5-inches long x 2-1/2-inches wide. The step is Made in USA and caries a limited lifetime warranty from Carr.
