Question:
I have a 2015 Chevy Sonic, Man 6, 1.4 turbo, hatchback. None of the supplemental break systems listed seems to be what I need for this car. I am considering getting the following parts to tow it behind my RV: BX4330 - Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar - A-Frame - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs BX1703 - Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms for 2015 Chevrolet Sonic BLU37TR - Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System - Proportional MT70097 - MaxxTow Magnetic Tow Lights Is this an acceptable combination? Is the Patriot Braking System able to be used on my car. I am partial to Blue Ox, but if there is a better combination, I am interested in what that is too. Lastly, did I overlook something needed?

We can help you get set with flat towing gear from Blue Ox.
Flat towing requires 5 essential components: tow bar, safety cables, and a lighting solution, base plates and supplementary braking system for the toad.
Let's start with the base plates for the 2015 Sonic. Blue Ox offers their # BX1703 with removable bracket arms for a clean appearance when you're not flat towing. With these base plates I suggest their Alpha Tow Bar # BX7380 because it includes the required safety cables. Optronics Magnetic Tow Lights # TLL21RK are a great choice because they are cost-effective and simple to install and remove.
The Patriot wireless braking system # BLU37TR is among the easiest to set up and operate. Its proportional braking ensures the toad will slow at a rate consistent with the RV's braking action, so you will not feel a "tug of war" between the RV and the Sonic as you slow. The result is improved control, better stopping and less wear on both your vehicle's and RV's brakes. An install video is linked for you.
You may care to review the linked article on flat towing and as always, we recommend a review of your Sonic owner's manual for any guidance related to flat towing that specific vehicle.
