Replacement Jack Recommendation for Boat Trailer with 5k Capacity

Question:
I need to replace this jack on my boat trailer. The teeth have started to break off of the gear. I would like to get a jack that will lift and hold a larger capacity. Currently this old jack is 2000lb lift. I really need one to lift at least 3000 lb and support 5000 lb, as my boat weighs 10,000 lbs out of the water. The trailer it self will support the bulk of the weight. My problem is the hole that the A-frame goes through is not big enough for some of the replacement jacks. Thank you

The Bulldog Jack part # BD1700100317 is an A-frame jack with a 5k capacity that should work well for you. This jack has the standard outer diameter of 2-1/4 inches. You may need to enlarge yours if it wouldn't fit this jack. For a footplate you would want the part # BD018564.
