Is there an accessory for the DZ6537P to hold the lid fully open?

I called my contact at DeeZee about the Specialty Series Storage Box, part # DZ6537P. They told me there is no accessory available to hold the box lid open.

I asked if you were able to find a small hydraulic arm and installed it if that would work and they told me any modification would void the warranty.

I recommend using a bungee or rope or cord with a hook to hold the lid open when needed. That way you would not need to modify the storage box and retain the warranty.
