Winch Strap Recommendation that Won't Corrode
Updated 07/13/2015 | Published 07/10/2015 >
Question:
Are there any winch cables made from stainless steel? I see that many are galvanized aircraft cable. If my cable is exposed to the elements, I am worried that it will rust and deteriorate over time.

We don't carry any winch wire ropes that are made from stainless steel. The galvanized cables hold up pretty well though. I have yet to hear back from a customer who had a rust issue with theirs.
But a different option you could consider would be a strap since they aren't metal and wouldn't corrode or rust.
I attached a link to a page that has all of the winch straps we carry. Your winch would have to be able to accept a strap though.
