Is a transmission cooler required to tow with the Odyssey? Which one do you recommend? Any other parts needed?

Based on my research, a transmission fluid cooler and a power steering fluid cooler are both required for towing with your 2006 Honda Odyssey.
I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503. This is the largest transmission cooler we have to fit your Odyssey, measuring 11 inches wide x 8-3/4 inches tall x 7/8 inches deep. The larger the cooler, the more efficiently it will cool the transmission fluid. You cannot cool the fluid too much. This transmission cooler is specifically designed to work for Odysseys with electronic overdrive transmissions. Included in the kit is a complete mounting kit, hose, stainless steel hose clamps, and Insta-dapt radiator adapter. I have attached an installation video of this cooler's installation in a 2006 Honda Odyssey for you.
The cooler comes with all necessary parts for installation, and based on the installation video you will not need any extra parts.
For a power steering cooler, I recommend the Derale Power Steering Cooler # D13210. This cooler come with mounting brackets and all necessary hardware to install the cooler, rod and clip ties, hose, and hose clamps.
