Flexible Brake Line Recommendation for a Kodiak Disc Brake Kit on a Torsion Axle
Updated 07/07/2015 | Published 07/06/2015 >
Question:
Hi, Do you have brakeline fittings that have 45 degree elbows? Or perhaps the Tiedown engineering banjo fittings? I have a tandem torsion trailer with aluminum section I beams. The brakes are kodiaks. When the torsion axles swing, the brakelines sticking straight out of the disk calipers could be sheared or bent by the frame if I was to hit a good size bump. Appears if I had a 45 degree angle fitting I could attach tot the calipers point it down to provide additional clearance. Or perhaps could I connect two banjo fittings together? Thanks for your input.

It sounds like you would need the part # 18018-SF which is a flexible brake line that has a 90 degree elbow on the end that would allow your torsion axles to flex without damaging the brake lines.
