Question:
Towing a 15foot 2015 Riverside Retro travel trailer approx 2200 lbs w/ 240lb tongue weight with a 2014 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. Currently use a Reese Light Duty Weight Distributing Hitch p/n RP66558 . The Reese is at the lowest position of the various adjustments possible however it is not enough to have the trailer sit level. The trailer is still to high in the front due to the trailer being especially low and the Jeep being higher then most tow vehicles. This creates the rear of the trailer lower then normal. Even at this lowest setting, the rear of the trailer will drag on even the slightest driveway such as a gas station. It would appear that the Roadmaster riser/ or this Blue Ox High Low adapter would give us the needed extra , however I see that you cannot tow a trailer with it. Can you explain why this is true and maybe an alternative to what might help us?

The adjustable shank that is included with the # RP66558 has a maximum drop of 2-7/8 inches.
The adjustable shank we offer by Reese that has the greatest amount of drop is part # RP3344. This has a minimum 6-3/8 inch drop and a 7-5/8 inch maximum drop when used with a trunnion-bar system like the # RP66558 has, and will work for you.
Per the instructions you want to set the ball mount so that the ball height is approximately 1 inch above the coupler when the trailer is sitting level.
