What is the Dimension from the Edge of Bracket on Brophy Scissor Step Bracket # CR2001

I would like to know how far the V clip is from the end of the bracket.

My technical contact at Brophy confirmed for me that the distance from the outer edge of the bracket to the welded-on V-shaped pieces is 2-3/4-inches. The edge of the weld is slightly closer to the outside of the bracket, approximately 2-1/2-inches.
