I have a 2015 traverse I would like to install a trailer wiring kit but the one recommended does not work with rear AC unit. What do you recommend.

If your 2015 Chevy Traverse has a rear air conditioning unit then it blocks that access to the tail light wiring on the passenger side. So to use it you would have to modify the wiring harness # C56181 essentially making it into a hardwire application which will void the harness warranty. You would have to access the tail light wiring to the passenger's side elsewhere on the vehicle.
I checked the owners manual for the 2015 Traverse and the procedure for changing a tail light bulb shows how to access the wiring behind the tail lights. There are a couple of caps over the lens that you will pry off and then two fasteners, one behind each of the caps, that you will remove to pull out the tail light assembly.
