Is Small Amount of Play Between Coupler and Channel Mount Acceplable

Question:
With the bolts torqued is there supposed to be play between the coupler and the channel?

A little bit of play between the coupler and the channel is normal. As long as the bolts are properly torqued, the play won't damage or harm anything.
I've confirmed this with my Bulldog representative.
