Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Counteract 14 ounce single bag of tire balancing beads for off-road tires. Now, these Counteract balancing beads are the economical way to balance your single all-terrain or mud-terrain tire and wheel assembly for the lifetime of the tire. Basically, the beads themselves, so install inside the tire. Now, I want to zoom in and show you when you receive, this is the bag you'll receive and it's actually sealed at the top with a tear-off seal.

I've taken that off so we can show you what's on the inside, what you'll receive. So if I dump everything out here and see there's gonna be four items. I'll just lay 'em out here and go through 'em. But basically, it'll include this 14 ounce bag of balancing beads, the Vortex valve cord, the standard valve cap, and then a flow through cap. Now, the beads themselves are tiny spheres of coated glass.

The balancing beads will not cause damage to the inner line of your tire. They won't clump regardless of excess moisture, and they are TPMS compatible. The beads themselves are environmentally friendly construction. They are reusable and recyclable. Now, the thing I wanted to mention to you is how these Counteract beads will balance your tire-wheel assembly.

So I'm gonna pop up an insert here so you can sort of follow along, but basically, once your tire begins to roll, this bag's gonna break open and the beads are gonna get distributed around its interior, thanks to centrifugal force. And as that wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire, it's gonna pull up and down on the vehicle suspension, and this is gonna cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pull. The beads will continue to migrate until there's enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to balance out your tire. Now, these tire balancing beads continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your single off-road tire. It will reduce vibration, ensure even where to increase life of the tire, and they decrease rolling resistance for improved fuel economy.

We did mention it's very easy installation. What you'll do is just throw this inner bag into the tire when it's removed from the wheel, or you can inject the beads in through the valve stem. The beads will remain inside the tire, they won't come loose, and it won't cause any damage to the wheels. Now, if your tire does have an internal TPMS sensor, you will need to break down the tire to install the beads. Now, when you go to order these, to order the correct amount of beads needed for your application, what you'll do is get the size of the tire from the sidewall of your off-road tire and match it to the tire sizes that are listed on the product page for that size bag of beads. These beads do come in different size of bags and we do sell those separately. Now, this 14 ounce bag of beads here is designed for use on off-road vehicles with 15 inch up to 26 inch size off-road tires and a minimum of a half ton suspension. You do not wanna use these beads on passenger cars or SUVs. Now, the other things they included here we mentioned, in order to reduce the possibility of any valve leaks, they recommend the use of this Counteract Vortex valve core. You just unscrew the original valve core out of your valve stem and install this one. And then they give you a choice of two caps, you can use a standard metal cap here, and they even come with a flow through cap. The flow through cap is nice because when you do screw this onto your valve stem, you don't have to remove it to put air in or to check the pressure, has a little ball valve up at the top that you just allows you to do it without having to remove the cap. And these parts are all included in every bag of Counteract beads. This is made in the USA and it is for quantity of one bag of beads for one tire.
