Question:
What are the specifications? My 2 inch hitch requires a minimum of 2.5 u bolt to go around it, 2.75 or 3 inch may be required. So will this tightener fit around by hitch receiver?

Expert Reply:
The Brophy Stabilizer Clamp and U-Bolt for 2-Inch Hitch Receivers # RSCP includes a u-bolt whose interior measurement (inside the two posts) is 2-5/8-inches. This is intended to fit the majority of 2-inch hitch receivers.
We do offer hitch stabilizers for the larger 2-1/2-inch hitch size and these can be seen on the linked page, including Roadmaster # RM-062. The u-bolt in this kit measures 4-3/16-inches between the two posts as shown in the linked photo.
If you'd care to let me know your vehicle year/make/mode/version and the brand of hitch you have I can confirm stabilizers that will fit.
