How Much Ground Clearance is Required for Mudflap Installation
Published 06/12/2015 >
Question:
I have a heavy camper on my 2500hd gmc. Will these drag when installed? Do you cut them then when your not loaded are they to short?

Expert Reply:
When you install the RockTamers part # ERT00108 you will want the flaps to hang 3-4 inches from the ground for proper ground clearance. You would want to take this measurement with the truck loaded and then use the pre-cut lines as a guide for making the cut.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
For suspension enhancement to help with your sagging suspension check out the other link I attached that will ask you to enter your year/make/model so that the correct kits would be listed for your vehicle.
