Question:
I have a 2015 ford f350 and would like to use a tailgate assist on my heavy tailgate. My tailgate has a oblong hole in it for the attachment point, instead of a round hole like they show in the pictures. will this be a problem ? Which one do I order for the F350 ?

Expert Reply:
For your 2015 Ford F-350 the tailgate assist you need is part # DZ43203. It is important that the nutsert fit snugly in the pre-drilled hole (see video). The pre-drilled hole is usually round, not oval (see image). Check out the video and see if you are looking at the correct hole (it is located near the hinge.) However, some customers have written that the hole in their tailgate is more oval and they were able to file the hole to make the nutsert fit snugly. As long as the nutsert fits snugly you should be fine.
